I’ve never written anything outside of an essay for school or a journal entry and this article made me open my eyes to things I hadn’t even thought about. I am only three pages in and I already have to scrap most it because things just aren’t making sense and it all sounds passive with a hint of active. I do like to journal though and one of my main things that pushes my entry along is being in a physical comfort zone. I can’t write to save my life if there is a lot of noise going on around me. I like to go sit at the local college because there’s a lot of calming environments around it. Your environment can have a huge impact on your writing techniques.
